The 4 O'Clock Drop: Mo' Horizons - Yes baby Yes
Today, 61.6% of Australians voted YES to Marriage Equality. We thought this track by Mo' Horizons would best represent how we're feeling about that.

The 4 O'Clock Drop: A. Swayze & the Ghosts - Smooth Sailing
A. Swayze & the Ghosts bring us Smooth Sailing. Make sure you check it out, if you're feeling it you can catch these guys at Falls Festival over New Years!
Dave Ruby Howe: "I'm overpowered by this frenetic, fuzzy delight. This is the kind of band that mum wouldn't let you join."
The 4 O'Clock Drop: Left. - Stay
This one from Sydney based duo Left. is a treat for the ears.
Triple J's Bridget Hustwaite: "Love how Sarah's silky vocals glide over that erratic beat which evolves into a pulsating, ritual-esque jam! Always enjoy listening to you two."
Have a listen!

The 4 O'Clock Drop: Rainbow Chan - Let Me
Haunting and vulnerable, Let Me is the fresh single from Sydney's Rainbow Chan. As well as being one of the city's most exciting producers, her live show has a sizeable reputation.
The Rainbow Chan Facebook page tells us that Rainbow "has been interested in the idea of intersections and hybridity from an early age—the resultant work is a delicious collage of seemingly disparate sounds and cultures"
Let Me is certainly representative of such a collage - the sultry vocals of the chorus layered on top of the jarring, minimal beat results in something truly memorable.
Check it out for yourself below!
The 4 O'Clock Drop: Sketch Jets - Sleepyhead
Found this lovely one on unearthed and had to share it. It's just really good.
Give it a listen and enjoy your weekend!

The 4 O'Clock Drop: Kaiit - Natural Woman
Melbourne-based Kaiit graces us with this soulful one. Have had it on repeat since stumbling upon it.

The 4 O'Clock Drop: Arno Faraji - Destiny's
Unearthed High winner Arno Faraji gives us Destiny's, and we are so grateful. There's no doubt Faraji was deserving of that win - what a talented dude.
Check it out for yourselves!

The 4 O'Clock Drop: Pynes - Never Enough
Never Enough is a pretty difficult one not to like. Mel Tickle’s silky vocals will entrap you from the start and hold you captive until it’s over.
Listen and enjoy!

The 4 O'Clock Drop: Rob Muiños - Weeks At All
Weeks At All is a mesmerising re-up from the gritty folkman himself. The track will be officially released tomorrow, with the entire EP due for release in September.
For now, stream the track through soundcloud below.

The 4 O'Clock Drop: Dress Thèque - Landslide
Dress Thèque's hypnotising track Landslide is a good one.
I’d also recommend watching the music video for the song directed by Rhys Day.
The clip follows the career of a Formula One driver in the 1980s, who is “willing to sacrifice whatever it takes to win”.

The 4 O'Clock Drop: Deafcult - Summertime
Stumbled across this wonderfully hazy one the other day.
This was my first taste of Deafcult, and I enjoyed it so much that I had to check out some of their earlier stuff to see if it was any bit as awesome. It was.
Go have a listen!

The 4 O'Clock Drop: Jack Grace - All Lost
Sydney based songwriter and producer Jack Grace does not disappoint with this one. Grace’s melodic loop is so entrancing; every time it goes around it feels like new.
Even after 3 or 4 consecutive listens I hadn't grown tired of it - I challenge you to do the same!

The 4 O'Clock Drop: NEIL FRANCES - Back To What I Know
Found this sneaky little track by NEIL FRANCES on Unearthed this morning. It's really good. You should listen to it.
Enjoy your weekend!
The 4 O'Clock Drop: Alex Lahey - Everyday's The Weekend
Everyday’s The Weekend is the latest tune from Alex Lahey, with her next album I Love You Like A Brother due for release in October.
Lahey says she wrote it about "that feeling when you really like someone, you’re hanging out all the time, and the rest of your life falls by the wayside.”
Give this cracking track a listen, you won’t regret it folks!
The 4 O'Clock Drop: TEES - Let Beauty Be
Absolute scenes in our office because we finally have some new stuff from Sydney's TEES! I hope this means some more shows soon, because they are a great live band.
Here is what they had to say about Let Beauty Be -
"Let Beauty Be is about acknowledging that something makes you happy, for what it is, for what it was and letting it exist… It’s about allowing something to be in its most pure form, free from hatred, free from pride. It’s about respecting that something once inspired you, even though it might not anymore."
The 4 O'Clock Drop: Art Feynman - Can't Stand It
Life-changing good vibes from Art Feynman on this one, titled Can't Stand It - but make sure you give the rest of Blast Off Through The Wicker the time it deserves. To put it simply, this album is really nice.
You'll melt into the Afrobeat jams and think you have the vibe worked out - but before you know it you will be soaring through the skies as Art shreds solo after ungodly solo and reminds you that this is no joke.
I don't know too much about Art Feynman but this album is on quadruple high rotation in our office.
